Pay for Breakfast/Lunch Online!
Parents can now pay for school
breakfast and lunch online, monitor your child’s meal account balance,
and also receive low-balance email alerts through EZSchoolPay.com. The
online payment option is a quick and secure way to deposit money to your
child’s meal account by using a debit or credit card. A $2.60
transaction fee will be charged per credit card transaction. For

is served from 8:00 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. Lunch is served from 10:50 a.m.
until 12:40 p.m. Each classroom has an assigned 30-minute lunch period.
West School is on the Accu-Scan Meal Ticket System. Students can pay In
advance for any number of days on their meal tickets and are encouraged
to do so. They may pay into their accounts any amount of money for a
week, a month or the entire year using the account for either breakfast
or lunch. Deposits can be made each morning in the cafeteria from 8:00
to 8:20 a.m. Students will be reminded when it is necessary to deposit
more money into their account. Meal cards must not be shared with other
students under Federal Regulation.
The price of the HOT LUNCH or SALAD BAR for students is as follows:
Full Price – $1.80 *Reduced Price – $ .40
BREAKFAST prices are: Full Price – $1.00 per day *Reduced – $ .30 per day
*REDUCED price meals are offered to students who qualify according to federal regulations.
for FREE and REDUCED cafeteria meals are available in the school office
and in the cafeteria. We encourage all families to apply for this
valuable program. Children qualifying for free meals are processed
exactly as the paid accounts.
Except for reduced priced
cards, cash may be used at the door to purchase a single meal. However,
the deposit on meal cards is encouraged to prevent the loss of
children's money. For the single meal purchase, please send nothing larger than a dollar bill.
charges are not allowed. The cafeteria clerk reminds students when
their meal account has only two meals remaining. Students must have
money in their account, or lunch money for the day, in order to receive
meals. On three occasions during the school year, students will be given
an alternate meal of a peanut butter sandwich, cheese wedge,
carrot/celery sticks, an apple, and milk when they have a “zero” balance
or no money for the day.
During student meal service, no
outside food service (e.g., McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell) is
allowed in the cafeteria. Sack lunches are permitted. Milk can be
purchased to go with sack lunches for 25¢. If the student is not buying
milk, parents are encouraged to provide unsweetened fruit juice for sack
lunches. Soda pop or other carbonated drinks are not allowed with
either school meals or sack lunches.
